Do You Play At 100 Percent In The Game of Life?

At the Millionaire Mind Intensive (aff) this weekend the facilitators kept asking us to show up at 100%. Even at 10:00pm on Saturday, after a 14-hour day on Friday and more than twelve hours of intensive learning on Saturday, they prodded and poked and pulled us into 100% participation.

I can assure you that it took my full, focused intention to achieve 100% participation.

When I was going through the six-month program, Into The Heart of Healing, led by Malidoma Some and Francis Weller, before every ritual we were told to “spend it all.”

Have you ever participated in a competitive sport? If so, you know what it feels like to show up at 100%. You know that when you are running that race or playing that game you need to be fully engaged if you want to have any chance of winning.

When you show up at 100% and “spend it all” you open yourself up and allow learning, growth and new awareness to fill you.

Steve Pavlina just posted an interesting article about Life – The Ultimate Game that explores how approaching your life as a game can dramatically accelerate your personal growth and improve your life.

For many of us, it is easier to “show up” fully for a game than it is to show up for our life. If that’s the case, why not think of life as the Ultimate Game? If that will help you “play” at a higher level, go for it!

Here are a few questions for you to consider.

For how much of your life do you show up at 100%?

What’s your average percentage? When you look at your entire life, taking into consideration the highs and lows, at what percentage are you playing the game of life?

Have you ever noticed yourself being fully present during a game or competition, but coasting through other parts of your life?

What steps can you take right now to raise the level at which you play the game of life?

I’d love to hear your answers. Click on the comment button below and let us know how you are going to play the game at a higher level.
