Personal Growth Resource Roundup #11

Well it’s time for another Personal Growth Resource Roundup. This week’s roundup includes an interesting post on the Law of Attraction, some resources for happiness and a post on email addiction. Check them out!

First up is an insightful and eye-opening post from Drew Rozell about the Law of Attraction and War. If you’ve never seen Dwight Eisenhower’s speech in which coined the term “Militaary-Industrial Complex” you’ll want to check this one out.

If you’re a blogger or a writer of any sort, you won’t want to miss this next resource. I’m a big believer that writing has been one of the most powerful tools in my personal development toolbox. So any resource that can help me improve my writing can also help me grow! Leo Babauta, who you may know from his ZenHabits blog (another great personal growth resource) has just launched a new writing blog, Write To Done. As of today, there are under 10 posts, but every single one of them is filled with powerful tools and tips to improve your writing.

There’s been a buzz about happiness lately. Marci Shimoff’s (of the Secret) new book, Happy for No Reason has truly been “buzzing” around the Internet. I haven’t read it yet, but I took a peak at it the other day, and it looks good.

And there’s also Michael Neil’s book, Feel Happy Now. This is another good looking book. As far as I’m concerned, we can’t have too many books on happiness!
And then there’s Alex Shalman’s Happiness Project. Over the next few weeks Alex will be posting a series of interviews with notable bloggers trying to uncover the secrets to their happiness. I’ll be checking it out!

And finally, here’s one that I couldn’t pass up. Tina Su, at Think Simple Now, wrote an excellent article on How to Delete Email Addiction. If you find yourself checking your email constantly (my hand is up) check out this powerful post and start deleting that addiction!

That’s it for this round. I’ll see you next time.
