What is Evolving Times?

Hi There. I’m Edward Mills and I want to welcome you to the Evolving Times Blog.

Evolving Times is a natural expansion of my work as a Law of Attraction Coach, Teacher, Speaker and Writer. It is a place for me to explore ideas that are swirling around inside me. It’s a way to brainstorm in public and engage in a conversation about some of the evolutionary thoughts that I am passionate about.

I am a big fan of Barbara Marx Hubbard and Conscious Evolution. For the past five years I have been immersed in the study of the Law of Attraction. Since 1996, I have been a student of the human energy systems and Energy Medicine. And I have had the great pleasure of spending six in-depth months learning indigenous wisdom and ritual from Malidoma Some.

When it comes to writing, I have always had a passion for it. My interest began way back in 7th grade when I got the only A+ in a semester-long poetry assignment.

I have been blessed to find many great outlets for my writing. One that I’m particularly proud of is the inclusion of my essay, The Evolutionary Warrior in the outstanding anthology, Healing the Heart of the World. It’s an amazing honor to have my words mingling with the likes of Neale Donald Walsch, Caroline Myss, Fritjof Capra, Bruce Lipton, Prince Charles and many other incredible writers and thinkers. (Many of my virtual mentors and teachers).

Who is Edward Mills?

Edward Mills photoPersonal growth has been an equally passionate pursuit of mine. I credit my college roommate with opening the doorway of personal growth when he handed me the book Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and said, “You have to read this.”

Since then I have been committed to exploring and expanding my awareness of myself and the world around me.

Some have suggested that I might be TOO personal growth oriented. When I was studying at the Academy of Intuition Medicine, I was – lovingly, I’m sure – presented with a charter membership in the Gluttons For Growth Group.

Lately, I have endeavored to slow my growth process down enough to find time to share some of what I have learned with others. I do that through coaching, teaching, and, of course, writing. You can learn more about my work at the “official” Edward Mills site.

And speaking of my daughter, she is, without a doubt, my most effective teacher these days. You’ll notice her popping up from time to time in my posts. She has a way of reminding me of so many things that I’ve forgotten along the way.

I’m sure there’s more that I could tell you about me. But I figure the way you’re going to get to know me best is by reading this blog.

Thanks so much for coming by. I hope you enjoy your stay. And please leave me a comment to let me know you were here.

Warm regards
